FOOTPRI2NT

FOOTPRINT

Since 2014, we have worked diligently on reducing our overall footprint. A total of 109 projects have been evaluated to support carbon reduction, reduce footprint etc., and 85 specific projects have been selected and initiated.

We have installed Frugal fuel saving systems on 11 out of 16 owned vessels since June 2020 providing a documented fuel saving of 10% to 12%.

Together with KPI OceanConnect we successfully trialed a B30 biofuel blend on the M/T Alsia Swan, a 5,700 DWT chemical tanker in Amsterdam. The bespoke biofuel, comprising 30% FAME, demonstrated a 42% reduction in particulate matter emissions and an 18% reduction in carbon monoxide emissions compared to LSMGO. This supports compliance with emission regulations and aligns with industry efforts for decarbonization.

The installation of ECO-Pac systems onboard have reduced CO2 emissions from pumps and ventilation by 50%.

PEOPLE & WORKPLACE

Our employees are our strongest asset, and we continuously work to strengthen our working environment.

We are in the process of revising the company Safety Management System (SMS) in cooperation with external consultants.

So far, we have identified +50 industry guidelines from the OCIMF, Intertanko and ICS, which will be reviewed and integrated with the SMS.

Furthermore, we have created a new management manual structure for easy and intuitive navigation as well as significantly reduced the number of procedures.

FACTS & FIGURES

A total of 34 projects initiated since 2014

Carbon footprint reduced by 15.4% since 2018
