Uni-Tankers is searching for a skilled accounting assistant to join our finance- and IT team. We are a dynamic company operating within the shipping industry and we are seeking a committed employee to strengthen our accounting function. You will become a part of our headquarters in Middelfart and collaborate with experienced colleagues in an international environment.
Your Responsibilities
As an accounting assistant at Uni-Tankers, you will play a crucial role in handling accounting tasks for our vessels and shipping company. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Daily recording, posting, and payment of creditor invoices, including meticulous follow-up.
- Handling debtor invoices and posting receipts.
- Reconciliation and preparation of materials for monthly and yearly financial statements.
- Continuous communication and support to vessels as well as colleagues both domestically and internationally.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, we hope for you to hold an accounting education, such as a degree as an accounting assistant or audit assistant, along with relevant experience in a similar role. In addition, the candidate should have experience in tasks like bookkeeping and managing creditor and debtor accounts.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Familiarity with systems like Business Central 365 or other comparable ERP platforms is also valuable.
Lastly, we seek an individual with a positive and collaborative attitude, and who values being a part of a team.
